Dr Souad Mohammed

Dr Souad Mohamed was an elected Chairperson of London LifeMakers from 2005-2007, and now coordinates the Fostering Awareness Project. She has held various positions in community organisations promoting the Islamic culture and has a high level of leadership expertise gained through executive roles such as Chairman, National Curriculum Co-ordinator, Programme Co-ordinator and Information Communication Technology Manager. Dr Souad is a member of a number of voluntary organisations and academic professional bodies.

She is currently a Senior Lecturer and a Researcher in Information Systems. She Graduated from Goldsmith College University of London with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Computer Science, and was elected as Student Representative and Programme Monitor for the three consecutive years of the degree. She was awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy from Brunel University, UK. She has written and presented several successful publications in both refereed journals, national and international conferences. Dr Souad Mohamed's wider research interests include and Knowledge Management, E-learning, Information Systems (IS) Adoption, Evaluation, and Management; Human & Organisational costs of IS; Performance measures & Management of IS costs; Socio-technical considerations of technology.
