Personal Development Training Workshops

Training  Tomorrow's Leaders Seminar Series:

The first of our programmes was a series of seminars entitled "Training Tomorrow's Leaders". This programme began in September 2005 and it covered vital aspects that involved seeking success and leadership in the workplace as well as providing needs-based training covering many work-related themes such as
personal development and self empowerment. The programme was run by Dr Kais Al Obaidi  who has lectured in various countries around the world and is very experienced in this field. He has a PhD in Human Resources and a
BA in Economics. In addition to this he is a licensed management trainer.

The workshops will provide the necessary training vital to anyone who is determined to excel in their field of work and allow all members of  the community access to the key to becoming tomorrow's successful leader.

Workshop 1

 ‘Improving Leadership Style’

 January 2006

 The first and most eagerly awaited Training Tomorrow's Leaders seminar took place on 22nd January 2006.  The session was highly interactive and focussed on improving leadership style. All attendees left with a broader understanding of the concept of leadership, realizing that true leadership requires tolerance and that significantly, everyone has the potential to become a leader.

Workshop 2:

‘Management Functions’

9th July 2006

11.am to 4.30 pm

The second of our training workshops took place on the Sunday of the World Cup Final. The session was very interactive and involved much discussion. Trainees left with a broader understanding of the concept of successful Management and the difference between Management and Leadership. Though these two terms are used interchangeably, they are actually quite different. The most successful managers are those who have leadership skills and work towards effective results.

Trainees also enjoyed a delicious lunch and they did not leave empty handed. All participants took away an exclusive Training Tomorrow’s Leaders Key-Ring!

Our next and final workshop will be entitled ‘The Power of the Leader’, and will also include Character and Confidence building, as well as Presentation skills.

Trainees who complete the training will receive a certificate by a recognised body.
