Drugs Awareness Project:

We seek to raise awareness of the problem of drug abuse in the community.
Drug abuse has travelled far and wide, and affects us all, regardless of race, colour or religion. By raising awareness, we aim to reduce the harm resulting from drug abuse to individuals and the community. Our aim will be reached through developing a training programme for members of London LifeMakers and other volunteers from the community.

Those who volunteer to be trainers themselves will benefit by being educated on drugs issues through their training. Training will be offered by experts to those who have the drive and commitment to undertake valuable drugs awareness training. These individuals once trained will be given the opportunity to educate others in an array of different arenas within the community including community centres, universities, mainstream schools and supplementary schools.

To begin late this year/early next year.
